Settings and design

Edited

The first step is setting up your banner design and configuration. In the menu, go to 'Setup' where you’ll find all settings divided into three tabs.

Settings

Under 'Settings', you can configure how the banner behaves.

  • Default consent settings
Here you can choose which cookies are pre-checked by default. Functional cookies are always checked and cannot be disabled, since they are required for the website to function.

  • Button settings
Here you decide which buttons should be visible on the banner.

  • 'Allow selection' button behavior
When you enable this option, the behavior of the button changes. It becomes a 'Customize' button. Visitors who click it will see an overview of the selected options and can easily adjust their consent preferences.

  • Implicit consent
When you turn this on, the cookie banner disappears once a visitor starts scrolling or clicks anywhere on the page. In this case, full consent is automatically given. Keep in mind that this setting is not allowed in many countries.

Design

Under the 'Design' tab, you can upload your own logo, adjust button colors, and change other design elements to match the banner with your branding.

You can also choose to display the banner icon on your website. This icon allows visitors to reopen the banner at any time to review or adjust their consent.

Custom CSS

It’s possible to further customize the banner using custom CSS. Note that you’ll need knowledge of CSS to use this option. This field only applies to the banner itself, not other parts of your website.
