Paths

Cookie Confirm measures cookies differently than most CMPs, for two reasons:

1. To keep costs low and fair for everyone.

2. To avoid spikes in your reporting.

For this, we use 'Paths'.

When you add a website to Cookie Confirm, we automatically scan the homepage for all available cookies. In 95% of cases, this is enough. However, we always recommend adding a few extra paths to make sure everything is covered.

• A URL with a YouTube video, an iframe, or a contact form

• A thank-you page

Note: if your website has multiple URLs with, for example, YouTube videos, you only need to add one of them as a path, not all of them.

For best results, always add at least one URL from the templates/pages below.

• Homepage (automatically added)

• Category page

• Product page

• Contact page

• Cart page

• Thank-you page

• Homepage (automatically added)

• Text or service page

• Contact page

• Thank-you page (if available)

To add extra paths, go to 'Paths' in the menu. From there, you can easily add new paths. Keep in mind that you only need to add everything after the slash. You don’t need to enter the full URL.

For example: https://cookieconfirm.com/pricing/ should be added simply as pricing/.
