Pro rata billing

We often get the question why an upcoming invoice can be higher than just the number of domains. Here’s why.

Imagine you have one website and your current billing period runs from the first of the month until the end of the month. You pay €7.95 for this domain. If you add a second website halfway through the month, meaning halfway through your billing period, we do not charge you immediately. Instead, the usage for that new website is added to your next invoice and calculated pro rata for the days used.

This means your next invoice will include the two websites for the upcoming month as well as the extra days from the previous billing period when you added the second website.
